About Our Church

Who We Are

The members and friends of Saint John's Compass welcome all persons, regardless of ethnic heritage, religious backgrounds, etc.

We are a mixture of seniors, young adults and children who minister together to "serve the world in His Name."  We welcome ALL persons who are searching for spiritual values and wholeness in our broken world.

We are a very active parish, with a large percentage of our members actively involved in some ministry within the church.  It's the kind of place that feels like home.  People know each other and fellowship easily.  It's a place where members share the value of deep, life-changing faith in Jesus and support one another in becoming the best Christian and the best person we know we can be.  It's a place where we take time to listen to one another’s hopes and dreams, to be with one another when we suffer or when we grieve life’s necessary setbacks and losses.  We value our children, and in addition to our Youth Education Program, we have Youth Sundays where the youth of the church actively participate in the service.  We also have Vacation Bible School in the summer open to the whole community.  St. John's is also a place that searches for new ways to help others in our community.
