Pastoral Care Ministries

1. PRAYER CHAIN

     The Prayer Chain is a group ofparishioners who, independently in their own environs,

     pray for the needs and concerns of others.

 2. PRAYER TEAM 

      Members of the Prayer Team are available every Sunday, after the service, to meet and pray with

     anyone in need.

3. STEPHEN MINISTRY

     Stephen Ministry is a specialized ministry aimed at providing pastoral care for anyone in the

     community who might be in need.  The Stephen Ministers, who have gone through an extensive

     training program, meet with their Care Receiver on a weekly basis.  The Stephen Ministers meet

     together twice a month for supervision.

4. CARD MINISTRY 

     The card Ministry is responsible for sending out cards (birthday, anniversary, get well,

     special occasion) to parishioners.  Each person takes a month, during which time they

     are responsible for sending out all the cards.

5.  EUCHARISTIC VISITORS

     Eucharistic visitors are parishioners who have been trained to take communion out to those who cannot make

      it to church.  This involves going to the hospitals and nursing homes as well as to private homes.
